The Sports & Exhibition Authority of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County (SEA) is the owner of the DLCC as well as Heinz Field, PNC Park, Consol Energy Center, the North Shore Riverfront Park, the North Shore Parking Garage, and oversees the Lower Hill Redevelopment Project. The SEA partners with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, and VisitPittsburgh to make Pittsburgh a premier destination.
The David L. Lawrence Convention Center is managed by SMG, the world leader in venue management, marketing and development. SMG's staff works closely with the hotel industry, VisitPittsburgh, vendors/suppliers, and labor unions to help facilitate events and deliver the best environment for planners and attendees.
The Convention Center welcomes all guests. All areas of the DLCC are fully compliant to ADA requirements. Leading into the DLCC, curb cuts provide easy access to the main lobby areas. Sliding glass doors are at East and West lobby entrances. The elevators are equipped with Braille signage and lead to all levels of the DLCC. All restrooms are equipped for standard wheelchair accessibility. Family restrooms are located throughout the building. The parking garage offers specially marked parking spaces on the first level with close access to our lobbies. While visiting the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, if additional assistance is needed, complimentary wheelchairs are available in West and East Lobbies on a first-come, first-serve basis.
